Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Tadswap Ltd processes personal data when you use Tadswap, request support, or follow a third-party exchange route.

Effective date: July 21, 2026

Version: 1.0

Who is responsible

Tadswap Ltd is responsible for personal data processed directly through Tadswap. Third-party exchange, wallet, analytics, infrastructure, and fiat providers process data under their own privacy notices when you interact with their services.

Data we collect

  • transaction details, including asset, network, amount, wallet address, provider reference, and blockchain hash;
  • account and contact details you provide for fiat checkout, authentication, email updates, or support;
  • security data, including IP address, trusted country header, user agent, request timing, and abuse signals;
  • technical data, including device, browser, error, performance, and service-health logs; and
  • preferences stored in your browser, such as theme and saved private status links.

Do not provide a seed phrase, wallet private key, payment card number, or other secret to Tadswap support.

How we use data

We process data to:

  • request quotes, create transaction intents, and display verified status;
  • authenticate users where a provider flow requires it;
  • prevent fraud, enforce regional restrictions, rate-limit abuse, and investigate security incidents;
  • deliver requested support and transactional communications;
  • monitor reliability, debug errors, maintain audit records, and comply with law; and
  • establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Legal bases

Depending on your location and the activity, processing may be based on performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, compliance with legal obligations, or your consent. You may withdraw consent where consent is the applicable basis, without affecting earlier lawful processing.

When data is shared

We share only the data reasonably needed with the provider selected for a route, hosting and database vendors, email and support services, security and error-monitoring vendors, professional advisers, and authorities where legally required. Public blockchains independently publish wallet addresses, amounts, and transaction hashes.

Providers may operate in other countries. Where required, we use an approved transfer mechanism or rely on another lawful basis for an international transfer.

Cookies and browser storage

Tadswap uses essential browser storage for theme preference, wallet connection state supplied by wallet libraries, rate-limit or session continuity, and private status links saved on your device. Clearing browser storage can remove those saved links. Do not use a shared device if other users should not be able to open your transaction status.

Read our Cookie and Browser Storage Notice for more detail. Non-essential analytics or advertising cookies must not be enabled without the notice and consent required in the visitor's jurisdiction.

Retention

We retain transaction, security, support, and audit records only for as long as needed for the purposes described above, including provider reconciliation, fraud prevention, legal obligations, and dispute handling. Retention periods vary by record type and jurisdiction. Data is deleted or de-identified when it is no longer required, unless law requires continued retention.

Security

We use access controls, server-side secrets, encrypted transport, request validation, audit logging, and restricted service credentials. No system is completely secure. Protect your device, wallet, email, private status link, and authentication credentials.

Your privacy rights

Depending on local law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection, and may complain to a data protection authority. We may need to verify your identity and may retain data where a legal exception applies. Blockchain data generally cannot be altered or deleted by Tadswap.

Children

Tadswap is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly offer the service to children.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the service, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date and version identify the current document.
