Risk Disclosure

Crypto exchange activity can result in partial or total loss. Review these risks before creating a deposit, approving a token, signing a wallet request, or opening a fiat checkout.

Effective date: July 21, 2026

Version: 1.0

Irreversible transactions

Blockchain transfers are generally irreversible. Sending the wrong asset, using the wrong network, omitting a required memo or tag, or entering an incompatible address can permanently lose funds. Recovery is not guaranteed, even when a refund address is provided.

Price, quote, and slippage risk

Crypto prices and liquidity can change quickly. Floating quotes can settle at a different output than first displayed. Fixed quotes can expire, and a late or incorrect deposit may be rejected, refunded less costs, or handled under the provider's policy. DEX execution can be affected by slippage, price impact, front-running, and MEV.

Network and fee risk

Congestion, reorganization, validator failure, RPC errors, gas spikes, chain halts, or bridge disruption can delay or fail a transaction. Network and provider fees may be non-refundable, and a failed on-chain transaction can still consume gas.

Smart-contract and token approval risk

DEX routers, token contracts, and connected protocols can contain bugs, be upgraded, be exploited, or behave unexpectedly. A token approval gives the approved spender authority up to the allowance amount. Review every contract and approval request, avoid unlimited allowances where possible, and revoke allowances that are no longer needed.

Wallet and device risk

Anyone with your seed phrase, private key, unlocked device, wallet session, or private status link may be able to access sensitive data or move assets. Tadswap cannot restore a wallet, reverse a signature, or recover credentials. Verify the site origin and wallet prompt before signing.

Provider and counterparty risk

Third-party exchanges, fiat providers, payment processors, wallet software, RPC services, and liquidity venues can become unavailable, reject a request, freeze processing, change terms, experience a breach, or become insolvent. Their compliance and refund decisions are outside Tadswap's direct control.

Fiat payment risk

Fiat providers may require identity verification, impose payment limits, reject cards or bank transfers, adjust rates and fees, or delay delivery. Chargebacks, bank reversals, fraud reviews, and local payment rules can affect an order after checkout begins.

Token and liquidity risk

A token may be malicious, counterfeit, illiquid, frozen, rebasing, fee-on-transfer, or subject to issuer controls. Tadswap's token list is not an endorsement. Independently verify the chain and contract address and assess the asset before proceeding.

Compliance and regional risk

A route can be unavailable or interrupted because of sanctions, anti-money-laundering controls, provider policy, source-of-funds review, or regional restrictions. Eligibility can change and a provider may request information before releasing or refunding assets.

Operational and cybersecurity risk

Software defects, dependency vulnerabilities, domain or DNS compromise, phishing, API failure, incorrect data, denial-of-service attacks, and provider outages can affect availability or transaction instructions. Pause if information differs between Tadswap, the provider, and your wallet.

Tax and legal risk

Crypto activity may create tax, reporting, licensing, or other legal obligations. Rules differ by location and can change. Obtain independent professional advice where needed.

No guaranteed outcome

No route, quote, status message, or provider score eliminates these risks. Use only assets you can afford to lose and independently verify every material transaction detail.
